Sheikh Khalid bin Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani, the Chairman of Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIB), announced the lender's financial results for the fiscal period that ended on 30/6/2012.
The statements reflected net earnings of QAR 340.1 million, growing 5.5% Y-o-Y from QAR 322.3 million. Net operating profit for the same period reached QAR 581.9 million, compared with QAR 566.2 million in year-earlier period.
In addition, total assets rose 7% Y-o-Y to QAR 23.7 billion from QAR 22.2 billion. EPS increased to QAR 2.25 from QAR 2.19 in H1-11.
CEO Abdulbasit A.Al- Shaibei, said that the lender plans to open more branches in Doha and will increase ATMS to provide customers with more convenience.
